Welcome and Congratulations on your engagement! 
 

To begin your marriage preparation at Christ the Good Shepherd (CGS) as you prepare yourselves to enter into the Sacrament of Matrimony, joining together in a covenant relationship with one another and with God.  We hope that this final preparation process, you are now entering will be a rewarding part of the marriage preparation, you initiated under the guidance of your family, friends, and community. 

A sacramental marriage is a means of grace, giving the husband and wife strength to live out their commitment.
The procedures here at CGS are intended to help you grow in communication, understanding, and love not only during the next six to nine months of immediate preparation but also for the remainder of your lives as husband and wife. 

This outline of the process for preparation consists of the following steps:
 1. Complete your registration today online or print the form to start the process.
* Please email the printed form to Nadia Jara and review the Marriage Guide Book.
 2. Attend  One Marriage Orientation 2nd Sunday of the month.

Please note: If your wedding will be celebrated outside of our Archdiocese, preparation and paperwork must be completed two (2) months before the wedding date in order to send your marriage file on time to the diocese where your wedding will take place.
