Looking for Baptism, Confirmation, and/or Eucharist?
The OCIA program is here to guide you!
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)—formerly known as RCIA—is the journey through which individuals 7 years of age and older explore the Catholic faith and prepare to receive the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist and Reconciliation. Whether you're new to Christianity, coming from another faith tradition, or simply seeking a deeper relationship with Christ, OCIA offers a welcoming and prayerful space to grow in understanding and community.
Through weekly sessions, spiritual reflection, and parish support, participants walk together toward full communion with the Catholic Church. The process honors each person's unique story, encouraging questions, offering guidance, and cultivating a heart ready to receive God's grace.
Inquirers are welcome to remain in the Pre-catechumenate for as long as needed as they discern the next step in their spiritual lives. The Rite of Entrance and The Rite of Election publicly mark and celebrate important steps as individuals journey deeper into their relationship with God through the Church. The Sacraments of Initiation are typically celebrated during the Easter season.
